The saga of a tree:

So- spring has sprung. The apple tree that Matt pruned has more blossoms than I have ever seen it have. I'm looking forward to apple butter in the fall.

However, we also had to get rid of a dead walnut tree. (We personally didn't, Kate had someone take care of it :) )
So here is the process:

Dead tree,

cut to big stump,

cut to little stump,

lots of firewood,

and a big pile of shavings where the stump was ground out.
