So California Adventure was the next day. We started out with the big kids riding the Grizzly Bear rapids. Three times.

Ringing in the New Year in style:
with an electric light parade.
The crazies in the group (Matt and Uncle Todd) went back later after we were all settled in the hotel because the park stayed open until 2:00 am. Good times, good times.
Then New Year's Day it was back to Disneyland. Among our many adventures, we had teacups,
Small World,
Toon town,
an attempted jail- break,
and pure Star Wars bliss.
We also discovered that Ashley is a brave Roller coaster rider. She must have seen someone else do it, because all of a sudden, her little hands were up in the air! No fear. Of course, that could also be why we were constantly having to do a head count and track where she was. . .
The greatest thing of all, was time spent with family. From Christmas Eve to New Year's, we were able to spend lots of time with our various family members. It was an incredible way to end 2008 and a really fabulous way to start 2009!
